london family and child photographer

HELLO

If I had to choose just one possession to keep I'd know the answer straight away.

It would be photos.

I used to love looking through family photo albums as a child and learning all about various family members.  Seeing the houses they lived in and seeing them at play with their toys.  Hearing stories of holidays, trips to the beach and adventures that my parents got up to as kids.  And then turning to albums of my childhood and hearing tales of what my sisters and I would get up to as kids (not always good..!). More adventures.  More memories.

What's your story? I'd love to hear it. What do you want to capture in your photographs? Is it your child's quirky smile, their latest obsession, how they laugh and interact with their siblings? These will be moments that will mean a lot in a few years. Of if you are embarking on the start of your married adventure how is your personality going to be reflected in your wedding day?

I love capturing those quiet moments when your true personality has the space to shine. So I work patiently and quietly to give you space to just be you and to allow you to feel totally at ease when you are in front of my camera.

If you'd like to find out more about working together then feel free to get in touch.

Thanks for stopping by.

If you'd like to find out a bit about my journey from corporate world to photographer here's a fun little film I put together.

SHOOTING FILM

I believe film photography offers the very best way of ensuring that your memories are recorded faithfully, authentically and without the influence of fad or fashion so that they can become timeless heirlooms. Film is soft, organic and has a beautiful way of recording colour tones and grain that digital just can't match.

I want the photographs I take today to sit comfortably against those of generations gone by and those of generations to come. Shooting film gives me that quality which I have never experienced with digital photography.  And without an LCD screen to distract me I can be fully engaged with what is in front of my camera. And that's you.
